Considering that NPPSH is a conference and network by postgraduates, for postgraduates, we would particularly like to draw attention to this call for papers in the Liverpool Postgraduate Journal of Irish Studies. After a successful first issue, editor Seán Hewitt now releases a call for papers for a second edition.

This is a journal composed entirely of articles and book reviews from Masters and PhD students. Accordingly, this might be a very good starting point for early career scholars to become familiar with the peer-review process and adapt their writing style to journal articles.

The journal is specifically interested in submissions regarding humanities research taking place in any aspect of Irish Studies. Submissions are welcomed in English, or in Irish with an accompanying translation, and should be emailed to the general editor by 17th October 2016. Articles should be between 4000-5000 words long, and should be formatted in MHRA style with endnotes.

All submissions will be reviewed by the editorial team, and then by esteemed academics at the Institute of Irish Studies, University of Liverpool.

All enquiries and submissions should be sent to the general editor at:
