We are just a few weeks away from NPPSH and we look forward to welcoming all of our speakers and attendees to Maynooth University on 13th and 14th October. We are also excited about the programme of panels and presentations we’re putting together, and we hope you are as well!
We want to share some important information for those of you traveling to Maynooth on the conference days. If you have any specific concerns, please do not hesitate to use the contact form to reach us.
If you are driving to Maynooth, please know that as the conference takes place during term time, permit parking is in effect. Our Traveling to Maynooth page details the different options guests have for parking, as well as maps highlighting the locations of visitor car parks. You will also find driving directions on this page as well.
For those of you planning to travel to Maynooth by bus, please be advised that Dublin Bus has announced a planned stoppage of service for Friday 14th October. The conference will still be held even if the strike goes ahead. Fortunately, Maynooth is easily accessible by Irish Rail. The Travel page linked above contains directions to Maynooth University’s campus from the train station, and the Irish Rail website has timetables for the trains to Maynooth.
If any issues arise with your travel plans and you need to spend the night in Maynooth, we would like to remind you that Maynooth’s Campus Conference & Accommodation offers affordable rooms right on campus. Contact information and a discount code for conference attendees are available on our Accommodations page.
