Teresa Cassin is a second year doctoral candidate in the Nua-Ghaeilge Department at Maynooth University. She completed her BA in Nua-Ghaeilge and Mathematical Studies in Maynooth University in 2015. She holds a John and Pat Hume Research Scholarship and is working on her research project under the supervision of Dr. Tracey Ní Mhaonaigh. Teresa’s research project explores the An Gúm archive which is held the National Archives of Ireland. She specifically focuses on the files that discuss translations in the period between 1927 and 1967. In 2017, she presented her work at the Association of Celtic Students of Ireland & Britain’s Annual Conference at the University of Glasgow.
